Effective Treatments for Adults With ADHD, or Executive Function Weaknesses

Course overview

Participants will be able to list 11 executive function skills, will be able to name the cortical weaknesses of adults with ADHD as well as educational, occupational, and social outcomes associated with untreated ADHD, will be able to describe the developmental challenges all adults face as well as additional stresses face by ethnic, sexual, or religious minorities, will be able to describe how to use observation and interviewing techniques as well as rating scales in assessing adults with weak EF skills, and will be able to describe key components of Mindfulness, Problem-Solving therapy, CBT for ADHD adults, and coping strategies for adults with EF weaknesses.
