Course overview

Androgenic anabolic steroid use has grown more prevalent within the existing drug industry since synthetic steroids were first developed in laboratories and approved for marketing. While these drugs have an important role in the treatment of specific medical conditions, there is a growing health concern involving the illicit use of anabolic steroids among members of the health industry. Most athletes who are involved in sports, and other sports-like activities take anabolic steroids to increase their physical size and strength. These athletic roles include competitive sports like weight training, wrestling, and other strength-based competitions. People who are focused on having an athletic physique may also misuse anabolic steroids. An increasing number of individuals are using anabolic steroids without regard for the disastrous impacts it can have on their general health.
