Course overview

*Describe the concept of intersectionality and how it can affect the lives of young black gay and bisexual men. *Identify factors contributing to adverse health outcomes in young black gay and bisexual men. *Summarize special considerations for the care of LGBTQ youth. *Identify strategies that individual providers can use to provide more patient-centered care for LGBTQ youth. *Summarize the current knowledge in scope, clinical presentation, screening and management of eating disorders. *Identify the prevalence of body image dissatisfaction and eating disorders in sexual minority adolescents.
