Participants will be able to list the 10 most frequent causes of death, will be able to describe the six factors most relevant to address with the dying and/or their family members, will be able to describe and contrast palliative and hospice care, will be able to describe the central beliefs and rituals regarding death and afterlife of the worlds five great religions, and will be able to name the activities involved in grief work in general and complicated grief work in particular.
