Course overview
Problematic internet use (PIU) is a topic of increasing concern among psychologists and other mental health providers. Previous research studies have established links between PIU and both internalizing and externalizing problems. The study described in this article/course was conducted in order to increase understanding of psychiatric diagnostic profiles associated with the issue of problematic internet use, as well as its unique contributions to impairment. .
