Chakra acupuncture is a method of combining qi flow and acupuncture to achieve deep chakra balancing, release energy blockages, and improve healing outcomes. Chakra acupuncture combines the energy medicine of Chinese medicine and the Indian chakra system into one. Chakra points are energy centers that control a person's physical and psychological functioning and also serve as acupuncture points. Anxiety disorders are the most common mental illness in the U.S., impacting 40 million adults aged 18 and up each year, 18.1% of the population. Anxiety disorders are highly treatable, yet only 36.9% of those suffering receive treatment. This course offers a treatment strategy that combines TCM acupuncture and chakra theory.
