Learn moreCourse overview
This course will cover the history and current applications of microcurrent to treat acute and chronic pain. The research and science behind the effects of microcurrent in vivo and in vitro, as well as decades of clinical outcomes, will be shared. This course will also identify historic injuries and structural issues that frequently cause the most common pain complaints for healthcare providers interested in underlying causes of chronic pain. Microcurrent has long been used to treat fibromyalgia, myofascial pain and dysfunction, neuropathic pain, and joint pain. Even in the most chronic cases, learning pattern recognition of key underlying issues can facilitate fast, successful microcurrent treatment outcomes. Furthermore, the impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), emotional trauma, and PTSD will be covered as being extremely important in facilitating resolution of chronic pain complaints. This course also introduces novel approaches to treating acute pain with FSM protocols in order to keep pain from becoming chronic.
