Course overview
Therapists should always consider their patients' mental health while evaluating and developing a treatment plan. Patients may experience a variety of mental health challenges impacting their ability to engage in therapy and achieve their goals. Therapy professionals must be knowledgeable of common mental health conditions, such as depression, anxiety, social isolation, and loneliness; their impact on a patient's functional ability and expected progress; and strategies to use during providing treatment.
