The goal of this webinar is to define and describe the post-payment audits currently being conducted by Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) contractors, including post-payment ADRs conducted by Medicare Administrative Contractors, Unified Program Integrity Contractors, and Supplemental Medical Review Contractors. The action steps to ensure timely response and submission to the CMS contractor are presented. This webinar details the important compliance-related next steps after a CMS contractor audit submission and after receiving post-payment audit results. The goal of this course is to provide managers and nurses in hospice with knowledge of post-payment audits and how they should respond to audits.
