Course overview

This course provides 1.75 hours of continuing education for professionals, incorporating media-based video lectures, and lesson tests in curricular modules. Course participants learn how to listen to own their inner boss, how to identify internal standards, how to create a plan to meet those standards, and how to apply their inner boss's guidance to gain more control over work, goals, and future. This course focuses on attitudes and behaviors that promote self-empowerment. It provides strategies for self-empowerment through self-coaching, approaches for developing an entrepreneurial mind-set, and an opportunity to apply a model for self-empowerment to enhance performance. Applying these approaches help learners become self-empowered contributors in an organization. The course explores the basics professional behavior and proper business etiquette. Course participants discover how to project a professional image. Additionally, the course addresses personal activities that impact professional image, including social media presence. Course participants learn how to show leadership accountability, implement strategies for setting goals, develop an action plan, and see all those competing tasks through to completion.
