Course overview
Pharmacy professionals communicate with patients of different backgrounds and different medical conditions, including cognitively impaired patients. Not all patients have a caregiver with them when they go to the hospital or the pharmacy. The purpose of this course is to help pharmacists and pharmacy technicians communicate clearly and effectively with patients and individuals who have cognitive impairment. This self-directed course is a 0.25 credit CE and can be completed using a mobile device or a laptop.
