Course overview

Medical errors can have a dire impact on clients/patients, agencies/institutions, and mental health professionals. By raising our awareness of how medical errors can occur and by taking preventive steps, we can greatly reduce the potential for error and the emotional and financial stress involved. This course is written by Haven Longenecker, B.S. in biomedical science, EMT certified, graduate student in Physician Assistant Studies; also written by Gwendolyn Green, LMHC MCAP LPC, co-owner and director of education of AA Ross Counseling, and licensed mental health clinician in Florida, Washington, and West Virginia.
