Course overview

Rehabilitation therapists often work with patients described as "medically complex" in home health settings. These patients often present with high acuity and multiple co-morbidities requiring consistent monitoring of symptoms and effort. Though medically complex, these patients can receive a significant benefit from therapy delivered at the appropriate frequency, intensity, and duration. Through a series of case studies, this course models best practices for how to manage these complex patients in home health settings.
