Milestones are divided into functional areas that include motor, language, cognitive, and psychosocial development. Individual children grow and develop at their own pace, but these milestones typically occur at a certain age or age range. This course discusses developmental milestones and developmental delays in children. It also discusses the interdisciplinary approaches used in children with developmental delays.
