PICC 103 will discuss Modified Seldinger Technique (MST) placement of PICC's utilizing Ultrasound Technology. Content will include the MST PICC insertion procedure; principles of Ultrasound Technology for PICC placement; a review of portable ultrasound equipment; potential MST PICC insertion complications; simulated hands-on practice with portable ultrasound equipment and PICC kit components; and a post test.
