The Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic has been a multidimensional, life-altering event that has contributed to a correlational increase in mental health symptoms for many adult individuals. The Household Pulse Survey conducted by the National Center for Health Statistics and the Center for Disease Control indicates that rates for anxiety and depression are approximately 4 times higher than in 2019. Chiropractic care has a long history that has emphasized a holistic approach to wellness. Subsequently, chiropractic doctors can be influential in supporting and ameliorating the bio-psychosocial challenges that have been exacerbated by the Covid-19 pandemic.
