This course will present the history of bloodletting acupuncture therapy and discuss the therapeutic mechanisms of bloodletting therapy. The role and characteristics of bloodletting acupuncture therapy will be listed in detail. The course will also summarize the clinical procedures of bloodletting acupuncture. Contraindications to bloodletting acupuncture, common side effects and how to deal with side effects are also important contents of this course. Finally, this course will present the common acupuncture points and indications of bloodletting therapy, and analyze the bloodletting acupuncture therapy for common diseases.
