Ambulatory Preceptor: Principles of Adult Learning
Tracking # 20-874490
Course overview
Adult learners do not learn in the same manner as children do in grade school. When preceptoring nurses in the ambulatory care setting, preceptors should be familiar with the principles of adult learners. Understanding different adult learning theories, domains of learning, and generational differences among adult learners will help improve your preceptor practice. Information on how to develop a teaching strategy that aligns with your preceptee's needs will be presented.
