Environmental and toxicologic emergencies are among the most frequent transport calls critical care transport professionals (CCTPs) encounter. Treatment of patients experiencing environmental and toxicologic emergencies requires depth and breadth of knowledge of many substances and processes as well as quick decision-making to optimize patient outcomes.
