Course overview

The focus of this webinar is to provide an overview of the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) criteria and its dimensions to help guide professionals in decision-making specific to clients' placement of care and receiving treatment for addiction disorders, including admission, placement, and discharge criteria. Additionally, the stages of change model will be reviewed to assist clients and counselors alike become familiar with the stages of readiness specific to addiction and related treatment.
