Protecting patients' rights and safety during use of restraints or seclusion is essential. Restraint usage is one of the top areas of deficiencies cited in the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Conditions of Participation. This presentation will discuss the requirements related to restraint and seclusion, staff training requirements and documentation.
