Children born with a cleft lip/palate should be treated by an interdisciplinary team including a speech language pathologist to effectively evaluate and treat presenting communication and feeding/swallowing disorders. Presentations covered evidence based evaluation and treatment tools and protocols to help effectively manage care for a child with cleft lip/palate.
