Course overview

The presentation will introduce participants to the origins of Music Therapy as a professional field and its effective interventions and applications in the field of western medicine. The certified music therapist will address the implementation of music as a tool for stress reduction, improving cognitive skills and motor functions within children, neurodiverse populations, younger and older adults. The workshop will conclude with some simple demonstrations of incorporating some of the basic Music Therapy concepts into one's daily lifestyle.
