Course overview

There are many entrapment points and manifestations of neuropathies in the upper quadrant. For therapists, a thorough understanding of the anatomy and physiology is crucial to identify risks for your patient, develop the most applicable course of intervention, and to achieve functional outcomes. This course will cover the complexities of the nerves of the upper quadrant as they originate from the spinal cord and terminate in the distal portion of the upper extremity. Identification methods and evaluations will be presented as well as current treatment methods. The goal of this course is to enhance your skills in investigating the why and how of neuropathies to guide your clinical reasoning and provide effective treatment ideas you can have at your fingertips.
