Conscious Conception and the First Trimester: Acupuncture Strategies Using the 8 Extras

Course overview

An Integrative approach to Conscious Conception, and early pregnancy through the 14th week of gestation. This course will cover the period leading up to conception, sometimes called the "zero" trimester, and provide integrative strategies for optimizing all aspects of health prior to pregnancy. Next, we will cover the first trimester in detail, including early complications, reasons for early miscarriage, placental and embryo formation and western screening and testing. Acupuncture using the 8 extra's and herbal strategies will be discussed.
