Recognizing Rheumatology

Course overview

This is an 8 hour online course broken up into modules, designed for Physical Therapists to enhance their evaluation skills in screening, differential diagnosis, assessment, investigation, onward referral and management of adults with possible rheumatological conditions. Through the modules participants will build on their knowledge to clinically reason increasingly complex disorders that may masquerade as Musculoskeletal or persistent pain conditions. This will also include increasing their awareness of different body systems and the role these play in the clinical reasoning process. The management sections of the course will develop existing skills for immediate application in the clinic to this cohort of patients.
