Intravenous Update - Peripheral & Central Lines

Course overview

This 6 hour "hands on" class will cover both peripheral ad central lines. Participants will have an opportunity to work with peripheral IV catheters as well as different central line catheters. Heparin/saline lock, different methods of regulating an IV including practice with 2 different types of pumps. Also covered is cental line dressing change, flushing an IV, and drawing blood via a central line.
