Wound Care Nurse Course - Part 1

Course overview

This "live-hands-on" 21 hour course is spread over a three day period and covers all of the basic concepts in modern wound care nursing - plus all students will have an opportunity to practice: (1) changing a wound vac dressing; (2) removing sutures & staples; (3) applying an Unna boot on a venous stasis ulcer; (4) irrigating a wound; (5) changing a colostomy bag. The instructor will demonstrate, and then students will perform these skills.
