Course overview

This package offers all our federal healthcare compliance courses: (1) Introduction to HIPAA Privacy Course; (2) Introduction to HIPAA Security Course; (3) Introduction to Healthcare Compliance - Prevention of Waste, Fraud & Abuse; and (4) OSHA for Healthcare Compliance Course with Bloodborne Pathogens Training. The HIPAA Privacy course will cover the basics of HIPAA Privacy as it relates to: (1) Overall Background and General Information, (2) Basic Concepts of HIPAA Privacy, (3) HIPAA Privacy Basic Components, (4) Breach Procedures, and (5) Omnibus Rule. The HIPAA Security course presentation will be covering the basics of HIPAA Security as it relates to: (1) Overall Background and General Information, (2) Basic Concepts of HIPAA Security, (3) HIPAA Security Basic Components, (4) Breach Procedures, and (5) Omnibus Rule. Introduction to the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) for Healthcare Course with Bloodborne Pathogens Training. Certification course for providers and staff that covers: Needle sticks, bloodborne pathogens, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and biomedical waste handling and education. This is of utmost importance to Healthcare Providers and Patients in the age of the COVID-19 novel coronavirus. Introduction to Healthcare Compliance course covers federal and generally applicable state healthcare compliance education and certification. The course covers the OIG requirements and some of the most common laws used by the OIG. This course is designed to promote awareness and understanding of healthcare professionals about the Federal laws designed to protect the Government programs - Medicare and Medicaid.
