Upon Completion of this training participants will be able to identify and address:
Objective 1 - Participants will be able to identify and address using the hand brain how, as humans, connection is our greatest need and disconnection is our greatest fear.
Objective 2 - Participants will be able to identify and use the fear cascade and the anger onion to address biologically based fear responses.
Objective 3 - Participants will be able to identify adverse childhood experiences, compounding adverse toxic stressors, and adverse community environments.
Objective 4 - Participants will be able to identify the 3 Rs of successful trauma resolution and the top five resilience factors.
Course overview
Connection is our greatest need and disconnection is our greatest fear. This training explores the depth of that statement all the way down to a cellular level. It looks at the power of relationships to shape our brains, bodies, and behavior. In addition some basic trauma responsive interventions are shared, so you leave understanding not only what hurts, but how to help.
