Course overview

Standardized outcome measures are the foundations of an evidence-based plan of care. These must be used to accurately capture a patient's impairment to inform the intensity, frequency, duration, expected progression, and goal setting. This information is critical for the patient and care team, and for effective documentation and reimbursement. Through a series of application-based case examples this course models the process of selecting the most appropriate objective measure, interpreting the results, integrating the data into an evidence-based plan of care and goal setting, and best practices in documentation.
