Paramedic Distant Learning Course (48-Hours)

Course overview

This Distant Learning Course consists of 48 hours of continuing education in emergency medicine for paramedics. This course reviews several areas that are pertinent to the paramedic in the prehospital setting, such as HIPPA privacy, respiratory management, ECG interpretation, common medications, and bloodborne pathogens. This course includes 2.0 hours of pediatric emergencies that are required for the Florida Paramedic. Upon completion of the course, the student is required to take a 100 multiple-choice question test. A passing score of 70% or greater is required to successfully complete the course.
