Course overview

This course examines the ethical codes used by prevention practitioners. It focuses on knowledge of Ohio codes as well as obligations and procedures used to promote ethical conduct of practicing professionals. The need for educating oneself within the realm of cultural competency is also presented. Also, ethical issues in community interventions, and some guidelines for advocacy at all three levels of government as well as in the community is discussed.
