Knowledge of pathology helps you as a bodywork professional, to know whenmassage is contraindicated and when to refer yourclients to another health care provider. Through this video- and text-based course, you will be able tofamiliarize yourself with the common conditions andillnesses you may encounter. Musculoskeletal, nervous, circulatory, respiratory,endocrine and digestive system disorders areinvestigated. Some of the afflictions discussed in thecourse include: fibromyalgia syndrome, spasms and cramps,strains and sprains, joint disorders, whiplash, carpaltunnel syndrome, herniated disc, thoracic outletsyndrome, Parkinson's Disease, headaches and seizuredisorders, heart conditions, and bronchitis.
