Postpartum 101: Focusing on Lochia

Course overview

Lochia is the vaginal discharge after giving birth, containing blood, mucus, and uterine tissue. Lochia discharge typically continues for four to eight weeks after childbirth, a time known as the postpartum period or puerperium. Grace Lu will share the most common TCM diagnosis for post-partum women experiencing abnormal lochia as well as the TCM treatments. Also, Grace will share various food and dishes best to tonify the patient during this Golden period, one month post-partum time.
