This course is designed for beginning to advanced clinicians interested in managing common upper extremity sports injuries. A variety of clinical conditions (tendonitis, ligament injuries, wrist injuries, fractures and dislocations) will be emphasized along with mechanism of injury and treatment protocols. This course will help you rehabilitate your patient and get them back in the game. A self-assessment pre and post test are included to help measure learning. Course Objectives: 1. Recognize pathology associated with common sports injuries. 2. Understand the mechanism of injury for various hand injuries. 3. Recognize treatment interventions for upper extremity injuries.
