The purpose of this course is to educate participants about the physiological and psychological sequelae of combat traumas on victims and their loved ones. It will include discussions of the etiology, diagnosis, treatment, case management and prognosis of Combat-Induced Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Didactic, pedagogical and case history methods of instruction will be used. The course material is intended to enable practitioners of all fields to understand, accurately identify, and treat combat-related PTSD.
