Join us as we takes you on a journey through the evidence based literature via interview and patient care scenarios. Through interviews and demonstrations, you will be exposed to the most recent statistics and background information on causes and types of hip fractures and the most up to date evaluations and treatments. Listen to national experts and researchers as they share their perspectives and advice. Follow patient care trajectory from orthopedic surgeon interviews to surgical videos, acute care physical and occupational therapists, and skilled nursing physical and occupational therapists to a therapist practicing in the home. The course is clinically focused, uses real patients to demonstrate quality care at all levels of rehabilitation (acute to part B), and emphasizes what physical and occupational therapists can do to improve outcomes for our patients with hip fractures.
