This activity will describe the role of federal, state, and local governments in emergency and disaster preparedness and response as well as specific information related to the Florida legislature. Guidelines for the creation of an emergency preparedness plan for hospital and community pharmacies will also be provided as well as strategies to prepare the pharmacy for specific disasters.
