Course overview

In this workshop we will explore the many implications of coping with the syndemic conditions faced as a result of global public health crisis. We will review the impact of chronic stress and trauma on development and improve awareness and understanding of risk factors within this context so that we may enable helpers to intervene and address unmet needs. We will explore the ways that we as helpers can support youth and their families as they reestablish routines and engage in systems of care. Finally, we will explore the ways that we as impacted helpers may engage in activities that support wellness and career longevity.
