Integrating AAT into Treatment for Anxiety and Depression Disorders

Course overview

This workshop has been designed to develop the awareness, knowledge, and skills of helping professionals interested in integrating animal-assisted therapy into practice with a specific diagnosis. This includes therapists, teachers, nurses, or anyone who works with a population that would benefit from incorporating animals into practice. Goals, interventions, and intentions will be discussed of adding animals into the treatment of anxiety and depression. Time for case-specific consultation will also be given.
