Peripheral Neuropathies Part 2: Management of Common Presentations

Course overview
Neuropathies stem from numerous causes resulting in varying patient presentations. Patients with these types of conditions require careful examination in order to determine the primary problems and correct course of treatment. This course will focus on enhancing clinical skills and therapeutic interventions for three specific types of neuropathies including: Diabetic polyneuropathies, Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS) and Bell Palsy. Etiology, underlying pathologies, and differential diagnosis for each diagnosis will be covered. Specific evidence-based assessments as well as treatment approaches for each diagnosis will be reviewed through case base examples and learning assessments. This course is part two of a two-course series.
