Tracking # 20-943779
Course overview
Orthopedic surgery is a common intervention for children with cerebral palsy. Often times the goal of the surgical intervention is to improve or prolong a child's ability to ambulate. This course will discuss current trends in the orthopedic management of ambulatory children with cerebral palsy including single-event multilevel surgery and post-intervention outcomes. The course will also provide a framework for the gait assessment and clinical assessments that are critical for the pre-surgical decision making process.
