Home Health Value-Based Purchasing: An Overview

Course overview
This course provides an overview of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Home Health Value-Based Purchasing (HHVBP) model. It presents the various components of HHVBP, including OASIS data, the Home Health Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) Survey, Home Health Compare reports, internal quality improvement (QI) Processes, and Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI), and the actions home health agencies can take to succeed with HHVBP. The goal of this course is to describe HHVBP model functions, measures, and application to professional caregivers and administrators in home health.
