Course overview

Despite a global pandemic, maintaining quality care for patients and compliant business practices remain at the forefront of providing hospice care. In reaction to the pandemic, many organizations found themselves switching gears to react to issues surrounding care, patient access, meetings, personal protective equipment, and so much more. QAPI and compliance focus has changed in the past 12 months due to COVID-19. You must refresh, refocus, and reprioritize your QAPI plan and involve your team as much as possible. This webinar discusses getting back on track with QAPI after a year in a pandemic and prioritizing the most important risks to a program. We will also discuss QAPI and Compliance working together to ensure improved outcomes. Lastly, we will discuss the future of QAPI and Compliance. The goal of this course is to provide nursing and administrator professionals in hospice with knowledge of how to refocus QAPI and Compliance programs.
