Recommended first course in the MAPS series. An evidence-based introduction to the Maitland-Australian approach to orthopedic manual therapy (OMT), focusing on effective assessment and treatment of neuro-musculoskeletal disorders of the Upper and Lower Limbs. Regions extensively covered include: Shoulder (Gleno/Humeral, Scapulo/Thoracic, and A/C, S/C Clavicular articulations), Elbow, Wrist, Hand, and Fingers. In the lower limb the Hip, Knee Complex, the Ankle-Foot-Toes complex, and NAD-Neurodynamic assessment. The bound manual includes detailed step-by-step instructions for each technique with more than 422 photographs. Over 900 references are provided. The course includes 16.2 CEH hours (=13.5 direct contact hrs) of remote live interactive instruction; required Home Study of approximately 16.56 CEH hours, including 5.8 CEH hours of online lecture; resulting in a total of 29.8 CEH hours (1 CEH hour=50 minutes).
