Course overview
Conservative treatment, including physical therapy, is recommended for many conditions that contribute to temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMD) and pain. In this course, physical therapy professionals will learn evidence-based interventions to address the articular and muscular dysfunctions that can cause TMJ disorders. Expectations for prognosis and when to refer to other healthcare providers are also discussed.
