Pediatric Evaluation: Interpretation of Developmental Milestones
Tracking # 20-894580
Course overview
Rehabilitation therapists working with children are strategically positioned to identify developmental delays and make referrals to the appropriate provider to ensure the best outcomes for their pediatric patients. Developmental milestones provide the framework for identifying developmental delays in children. Using a series of case studies, this course will highlight the impact of delayed milestones given the holistic view of the patient. This information is presented using the framework of a pediatric evaluation: when is a milestone assessment conducted in an evaluation, how are the results of the evaluation interpreted, and what is the impact on the plan of care?
