This cours will define medical malpractice and its elements. This course will also identify some types of medical errors, and suggest ways to prevent or minimize them. Also, improvements in communication and delivery of care to avoid or minimize incidents of malpractice will be suggested. Finally, this course will enable health care professionals to respond in a safe and professional manner in the event of a malpractice lawsuit.
