This course introduces the Functional Manual Therapy (FMT) paradigm for the management of pelvic girdle dysfunctions. The pelvic girdle is an important link in the kinetic chain, influencing function and symptoms of structures in other regions. The fundamentals of this system are demonstrated through the management of a complex pain patient. Gregory S. Johnson progresses the viewer through the subjective and objective evaluation. A systematic and individualized treatment plan and progression is presented for the management of this patients pelvic girdle dysfunctions, as well as an evaluation for system-wide functional enhancements, which result from the FMT intervention.
